How To Install Wordpress on local Server/Xammp

Here are the simplified steps on how to install WordPress on a local computer:

• Install a local server ( For Mac: MAMP, For Windows: XAMPP or WAMP).
• Stat Apache and Start My SQL (If there is any Problom Click Here)
• Create a new database by write it in Address bar. (http://localhost/phpmyadmin)
• Download WordPress from wordpress.org in zip file and extract the files to a new folder under the htdocs folder.(C:\xampp\htdocs)
• Rename the wp-config-sample.php file to wp-config.php and update the database details according to your local server. 
• Run wp-admin/install.php and follow the instructions to install WordPress. Done!
